Narratives for the Elementary

  • SumoMe

I came across Skoodlez today in one of my tweets from Gary Stager. This looks far more interesting to use with Young ES students than Webkinz. I am sure there are some of the commercial elements built into it much like Webkinz since in Skoodlez kids collect a currency as well. However, I really like the fact that students create narratives based around their own stuffed animal. Kids can use the photo gallery provided in Skoodlez to create their digital photo stories. These can be added to the Skoodlez library so other kids in the community can watch and comment on them. The more stories a member creates the more currency they collect.
